Notre premier voyage à deux canoës, à chacun son embarcation, à chacun ses méditations.
Ce carnet est dédié à ma fille Amélie,
parce qu'avant de partir j'avais, tout comme elle, sous estimé sa capacité à être vagabonde.
A l'heure de dérouler ce carnet, elle n'attends que de repartir ensemble avec son canoë.
Nous pensions que ce voyage serait bien différent de celui de 2017, effectivement il fut vraiment un cran au dessus, autant dans les émotions de notre relation père fille, qu'au travers des rencontres qui ont eu lieu.

Apres une seconde pause à l'entrée de cette crique, abrités du vent, nous repartons avec le sentiment de se diriger vers une forme de bonheur.

Israfil & Tarja savent que nous arrivons aujourd'hui, mais l'heure exacte nous est aussi inconnue.

Dès notre arrivée au camping, Israfil & Tarja nous déclarent comme leurs invités et ils nous offrent un cottage et tous les saunas que l'on souhaite ! Aussitôt arrivés, ils nous préparent un repas que nous partageons aussi avec eux.

Des finlandais viennent quotidiennement juste pour y boire un café et, surtout, discuter avec Israfil qui maîtrise le finlandais comme personne, mais il est surtout détenteur d'un sens de la convivialité dont les finlandais aiment profiter. Israfil me confie des anecdotes dont je lui demande l'autorisation pour les rendre publiques, tellement elles sont authentiques :
- Allo Israfil, j'ai besoin de te parler, comment vas tu ?!
- Je vais bien Topbsa, mais pourquoi m’appelles-tu ?

Je leur fais découvrir nos carnets sur mytrip; Ils décident de contacter la presse locale et nationale pour nous mettre en lumière. Je ne vais pas chercher à raconter en détails cette semaine passées ensemble, ce serait trop, l'essentiel reste de ne pas oublier de l'avoir vécue.

Le beau père d'Israfil, le père de Tarja, qui est un ancien journaliste sportif nous interview. Israfil traduit avec toute la psychologie dont il sait faire preuve pour transmettre les émotions. C'est à lui que Israfil & Tarja ont racheté le camping deux ans auparavant !

Israfil m'a expliqué combien son beau-père est un autre homme quand il pratique le tango. Cette danse est institutionnelle en Finlande. il fut aussi entraîneur d'athlétisme dans l'équipe nationale finlandaise mais j'ai oublié la discipline, au propre comme au figuré !
Israfil explained to me how his stepfather is another man when he practices tango. This dance is institutional in Finland. he was also an athletics coach in the Finnish national team but I forgot the discipline, literally and figuratively !

Je décide d'aider Israfil qui a besoin de tréteaux solides pour stocker ses barques et son pédalo durant l'hiver.
I decide to help Israfil which needs solid trestles to store its boats and its pedal boat during the winter.
Avec du bois de récupération et sans aucun outil électrique, j'envisage la réalisation de six tréteaux massifs. Ça engage mon savoir faire et mon envie d'y mettre le meilleur de moi-même.

Israfil m'aide pendant qu'il continue de s’occuper du camping, les clients arrivent au quotidien et sont parfois plus d'une centaine. J'ai prévu deux ou trois jours pour tout réaliser, peinture comprise.

La mère de Tarja vient me chiper une scie pour ses besoins d'entretenir un cottage. Pendant qu'elle scie je l'observe, mine de rien, en pensant à tout ce que Israfil m'a appris d'elle.

We go shopping together at the local garage while Israfil explains to me the social subtleties that the Finns keep in the freezer !
Nous testons le moteur et la batterie qui sont désormais la propriété d’Israfil & Tarja. Autant le dire, nous allons rester une semaine entière avec eux. Le camping ferme le 31 Août mais nous avons la possibilité d'y rester autant qu'ils seront sur place.
We are testing the engine and battery which are now owned by Israfil & Tarja. Suffice to say, we will stay a whole week with them. The campsite closes on August 31 but we can stay there as long as they are on site.
Nous passons nos journées ensemble à préparer la fermeture du camping et Pentti, le voisin d'Israfil, se joint à nous comme pour mieux en rajouter au sentiment de convivialité qui se déroule entre nous.
We spend our days together preparing for the closure of the campsite and Pentti, the neighbor of Israfil, joins us as if to better add to the feeling of conviviality that unfolds between us.
Pentti est doté d'une gentillesse naturelle et je le soupçonne d'avoir fait fait son apprentissage auprès d'Israfil.

Pentti décide d'aider sérieusement Israfil pour construire un nouvel abri tout en bois, pour y loger une pompe à eau, ainsi qu'une réserve à bois. Il faut commencer par enlever les souches et niveler le terrain. Nous sommes encore là alors tout le monde s'y met.

Nous discutons entre père et fille de sa proposition durant le sauna du soir, et nous acceptons sa offre avec la seule raison que d’accepter, nous permettra de rester quelques jours de plus avec nos amis, puis avec Amélie nous ne ressentons pas l'envie de refaire à l'envers un portage sur la route.

We decided to leave to join the cabin in two days and Pentti offers to transport us with its trailer to the lake which will allow us to reach the cabin directly and therefore, the end of this trip.
We discuss between father and daughter his proposal during the evening sauna, and we accept his offer with the only reason that to accept, will allow us to stay a few more days with our friends, then with Amélie we do not feel the want to do a backward portage on the road.
