Nous avons aussi croisé un lynx;
- Proverbe Finlandais -
3 and a half months of canoeing in Finland in complete autonomy with a drone and a small incursion in Russia which has earned us from being removed from our freedom by Finnish rangers ...
However, we have met so many caring, kind and inquisitive people that we view this trip as a gift of life.
We also crossed a lynx;
Without images of the feline, we wouldn't have said anything !
From mid-May to the end of July we traveled more than 1200 km of canoe and enjoyed a hundred kilometers of portages through national parks, from huge lakes to tiny rivers to mesmerizing marshes.
Until the meeting of a Finnish family that will upset the course of our journey, its purpose and also a little of our life.
The month of August took place around a cabin / sauna at the edge of a lake, which has been lent to us for no time and to which we can return as we wish !
The stranger is our brother; The man who has come a long way is our parent.

We feel that the trip is started and that nothing will make us backtrack. Our adaptation takes advantage of this nature in which it is so good to live.

The weather is really good since we left Padasjoki, it rains slowly at night, and our days are mostly sunny,
there are only the temperatures that correspond well to the end of a month of May.
The winds are generally favorable and never disturbing. Here a road bridge.
There a railway. Bridges, bridges, so much that we did not count them anymore.
Spring pollen covers entire areas and drifts with the winds, there is always suspended in the water we drink all the time.
We have trouble finding bivouacs: there are small houses really everywhere and each of them have a sauna that is always at the water's edge.
We have listed camps written on our maps, published in 2017, but it turns out that they are private lands,
So after a day of canoeing and looking for a bivouac for more than 4 hours ...
Our psychology takes a turn and we impose ourselves by going to meet people who could, or not, allow us to stay for a night or two on their land.
Once again, this is not a problem. And although we suspected, we can not help but want to find a bivouac that we consider, like "ours."
Here, we are with people and this evidence never leaves us so we remain discreet.
The road is on the opposite bank and the least engine passing sending its roar on our.
Mirror lake for a peaceful day.
We do not really bathe, it is rather to wash, the water is still cool without being icy.
Learn to ricochet. . . . . . . ....
It's seem to that the tent want to put the point on the "i"
Behind the scenes !
