Nous avons aussi croisé un lynx;
- Proverbe Finlandais -
3 and a half months of canoeing in Finland in complete autonomy with a drone and a small incursion in Russia which has earned us from being removed from our freedom by Finnish rangers ...
However, we have met so many caring, kind and inquisitive people that we view this trip as a gift of life.
We also crossed a lynx;
Without images of the feline, we wouldn't have said anything !
From mid-May to the end of July we traveled more than 1200 km of canoe and enjoyed a hundred kilometers of portages through national parks, from huge lakes to tiny rivers to mesmerizing marshes.
Until the meeting of a Finnish family that will upset the course of our journey, its purpose and also a little of our life.
The month of August took place around a cabin / sauna at the edge of a lake, which has been lent to us for no time and to which we can return as we wish !
The stranger is our brother; The man who has come a long way is our parent.

After a day of rest we decide to try a passage through a kind of river that intrigues us on the map.
It is also the common desire not to stay on large lakes since we already know that we are going to sail on the one that borders with Russia.

It is also the common desire not to stay on large lakes since we already know that we are going to sail on the one that borders with Russia.
No more national parks, we continue to look for ways to bivouac since everything is more appreciable.
The area is full of islands, but now we know that it is more difficult to find a camp there.
At the end of a peninsula, everything is magisterial.
We discover that in certain circumstances of light, the images of the drone let appear lines that seem to move, at the same time as the propellers !
No need to say too much when it's beautiful.
In the early morning the pollen covers the shore,
at the end of the day winds and currents dispersed it.
The horizon is Russia.
The pollen draws.
The pollen expresses.
Natural paint.
My freshwater shrimp !
The good time to live.
Here we are at the entrance of what will be a good day !
The beginning is always welcoming.
In this place, the wind and the current no longer have the same influences.
These are places that encourage silence.
Lotus leaves compete with the stars.
We stop regularly to raise a flower in the hollow of the hand and plunge nose in the pistils, the smell is so powerful that Tahiti pops up in our nostrils !
You really realized the pleasure of paddling without having to suffer.
Then after a while it gets tight,
but nothing prevents us from going to see until the end.
There is not even enough background to really paddle.
This is the technique of the gondolier !
We use the drone to try to make a decision but the trees do not let us glimpse the truth of the course that awaits us, so take the time to make images !
We continue to sneak in, knowing that at one time it is likely to block.
We have already anticipated the possibility of a portage and spotted the place of its start, no luck: the ground has just been plowed back !
It is still better to take pains without being under the gaze of his fellows.
Before unloading everything, we took the time to go on foot to recognize the small kilometer waiting for us.
The slope is steep Amélie now has an energy which we intend to enjoy !
The path is made of sand and the raises after each break are a hell.
But Amélie gives enough impetus so that I can start walking until the next break.
We find the continuation of the tiny river,
While the sun goes down, we do not worry about the time, so much pleasure leads us.
We have completely forgotten Lake Orivesi this morning and we have the feeling of being in a jungle.
At this late hour the atmosphere is sublime, we advance on a mirror that unties at our passage.
Beavers are the anarchists of the animal kingdom! Forced to pass the dam, after so much effort and a day that ends, it is an unforeseen that is not fun !
The sun is down, the light becomes milky.
We will find bivouac shortly after this small bridge.
Stealthy anguish.
